Women of Valor Honor Flight :
Create Quilts for Women Veterans!

CSR is supporting a special Women of Valor Honor Flight taking place in summer 2025! This flight, departing from St. Louis Lambert International Airport, give veterans the opportunity to visit memorials in Washington, D.C., and return the same evening. Each honoree receives a handmade lap quilt as a heartfelt keepsake, and you're invited to support this special event!
How to Participate:
Now through April 15, bring a finished lap quilt to City Sewing Room during our regular hours, and we’ll ensure it’s gifted to one of these incredible women.
Lap Quilt Details:
📏 Size: 36” x 36” (including binding)
🎨 Colors: Red, white, and blue (solids or prints, especially flags, stripes, and patriotic patterns)
🧵 Fabric: 100% cotton
🏷 No label required
✨ Bonus: We offer $1 per pound on fabric purchased for charity projects
