If you would like to learn how to add a unique look which spices up your sewing, then join us in some creative fun. In this class we will explore creative techniques to enhance items through embellishment. Examples can include adding lettering to a bag, applique on your pillow or adding jazzy details to your favorite shirt or blue jeans. Anything can be used, fabrics, beads, lace, jewelry, but the possibilities are endless. Each project will give you the satisfaction of a one-of-a-kind artwork. This also can help sustainability by letting you love older clothes and keep them out of a landfill. Bring an item you would like to embellish. It can be a pair of jeans, a garment, a pillowcase, a t-shirt, etc. Or feel free to practice on anything from our Maker's Mart. Requirements: Must know how to operate sewing machine. *This class is for ages 18 and older.
